Chapter 1: Pelvic Anatomy (45mins)

Chapter 2: Pelvic Floor Exercise Cues and Techniques (45 mins)
1. Describe the components of a pelvic floor contraction.
2. Give 2 verbal cues for tightening and bulging the pelvic floor muscles.
3. Teach a patient self-assessment technique for pelvic floor muscle activation.
4. Identify 2 common unhelpful substitution patterns for a pelvic floor contraction.
Chapter 3: Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Risk Factors( 45mins)
1. Identify risk factors for pelvic floor dysfunction.
2. List two dysfunctions that may be created by a tight pelvic floor as well as a weak pelvic floor.
3. Describe the prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction. (45 nins)
Chapter 4: Pelvic Floor Evaluation Techniques (50 mins)

evaluation, real-time ultrasound (RTUS).
