PROGRAM CERTIFICATION

Medical Professionals Maternity Care Practitioners Programs & Organizations

The Global Maternity Academic Association awards the Certificate of Completion to licensed medical professionals who complete a series of comprehensive evidence-based education courses, written and clinical testing at each level and a written case report rigorously reviewed by the GMAA Accreditation & Assessment Committee. GMAA encourages medical professionals to level up their knowledge by attending additional training programs.
The GMAA also authorizes organizations or medical facilities as cooperative units. After rigorous evaluation of their documentations, the GMAA will approve them to be authorized members of the Association. They shall research funding and international exchange opportunities through these programs.
In 2021, the GMAA has upgraded its certification system by including the maternity care practitioners. Professionals such as maternity manual therapists or postpartum rehab exercise trainers can obtain this certification through a GMAA-accredited organization after successful completion of related training programs. These programs will provide learning opportunities to these practitioners where they can hone their theoretical and practical skills.
